The demonstration will begin at 11am on Thursday from the center of Bil’in village in the West Bank.

Palestinian residents hope to protest on Thursday to bring their issue to the attention of Obama, as he delivers a speech in Egypt to connect with the Arab world. The Popular Committees Against the Wall and Settlements and the Ministry of Agriculture call on Obama to pressure Israel to adhere to the international laws and end the illegal construction of the Apartheid Wall and settlements that further annex Palestinian land. The Prime Minister, Salam Fayyad, will be in attendance.

"We hope to show Obama that we, Palestinians, have been fighting against the theft of our land for over 42 years, Bil’in has been demonstrating for over 5 years and it is time Obama join our fight. " -Abdullah Abu Rahma
