Fosses (France) hosts three groups of children and teenagers coming from Kampti (Burkina Faso), Kinshasa (DRC) and Bil’in. During the week, a tournament of indoor soccer will be held between teams from those 3 countries and the team of youth of Fosses.
Throughout the week, youths will share their time between visits, training, presence at school and family life with their hosts. This visit is also a city becomes aware of Palestinian reality.

On September 6th, 2007 the Bilin Popular Committee resolved to continue its struggle against the Israeli apartheid wall which is being built on the village’s land. We will continue our struggle in creative ways, as we promised, and we will not stop the struggle now.

Bil’in is waiting the final decision about its land. The Israeli Supreme Court told the village attorney that it will give its final decision about the path of the wall tomorrow morning at 9 AM.
People of Bil’in and the popular committee are inviting you to participate to a huge demonstration which will took place tomorrow afternoon at 4 from Bil’in mosque:
- A large number of international and Israeli peace activists will join
- Members of PLC will participate
- Members of the Israeli Knesset will participate
- Palestinian NGOs
- Israeli and International Peace movements
Your participation is important and needed also.
Only to be carried Palestinian flag and black flags. It’s a nonviolent and peaceful protest.

NEW YORK, 28 August (Department of Political Affairs) — The Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People will convene the United Nations International Conference of Civil Society in Support of Israeli-Palestinian Peace at the European Parliament premises in Brussels on 30 and 31 August 2007. Its theme is “Civil society and parliamentarians working together for peace in the Middle East”.
