Mohammad Jaber Daraghmeh was shot with a rubber bullet in the head today during the weekly protest against the Wall in Bilin. Daraghmeh was transferred to Sheik Zaid hospital in Ramallah to receive medical treatment. Ten protesters also suffered tear gas inhalation.

The protest managed to reach the Wall and walk along its path chanting against the occupation and the military procedures to stop the protests. During the walk, the army fired tear gas and rubber bullets at the protesters.

The protest started after the Friday prayer from the center of the village and was joined by internationals and Israeli peace activists. The protesters repeated chants and slogans against the occupation, soldiers, the building of settlements, road blocks, and military officers that command soldiers to shoot unarmed civilians.

The Palestinian Popular Struggle Front joined the protest in Bilin. The party participates in demonstrations in order to be in solidarity with the villages that are effected by the Wall and Israeli settlements.

The IOF sprayed the demonstrators with toilet water mixed with chemical materials. Israeli sources mentioned that this water contains Aldurban riots, which smell very bad. This developed material cannot be removed from clothes without burning them. It is a new way of separating the demonstrators, and one that the IOF has recently used on multiple occasions.
