On September 6th, 2007 the Bilin Popular Committee resolved to continue its struggle against the Israeli apartheid wall which is being built on the village’s land. We will continue our struggle in creative ways, as we promised, and we will not stop the struggle now. We will focus on the decision of the Israeli Supreme Court until it is implemented. In future we will focus more on the new path of the wall, but for now our priority is this legal decision and seeing it become a reality.
We have land behind the wall and an illegal settlement is being built on it. The village attorney will continue to pursue this matter and will take all the legal steps needed to get back our rights and our land.
The residents of the village are suffering greatly from the occupation. Most of them get questioned, arrested or affected by the tear gas used by the Israeli army. They have been hurt and have suffered from the night time attacks on their houses by the army. Because of this, we are determined to keep our promise to our people and to achieve our goals.
