The residents of Bil’in gathered again today after the Friday prayer in a protest joined by international and Israeli activists and groups. The protesters carried Palestinian flags and banners calling to stop crimes against civilians, stop settlement building and land confiscation especially in Jerusalem.

The residents of Bil’in gathered today after the Friday prayer in another protest called by the Popular Committee against the Wall and Settlement Building. The protest was joined by international activists and the Israeli Anarchists Against the Wall and Settlements. Protesters carried Palestinian flags and banners condemning the Israeli policies of building the wall and settlements, especially the recent plan to build 75 new housing units. Protesters also condemned the recent house demolitions in Al-Bustan and Ras Khamis in Jerusalem.

Demonstration in solidarity with Silwan residents

The residents of Bil’in marched towards the wall today after the Friday prayer, the protest was joined by Israeli and international activists. Protesters carried a huge banner with the flags of all the Palestinian political factions as a symbol of the Palestinian unity. Banners condemning Israeli’s racist policies and violence against civilians, especially in Jerusalem where Palestinians are facing ethnic cleansing were also carried. Recently, the Israeli army issued demolition orders in the Bustan neighborhood of Silwan in Jerusalem.

Fourth Anniversary of Bil’in’s Struggle against the Wall

The residents of Bil’in gathered today after the Friday prayer to mark the 4th anniversary of the struggle against building the wall and settlements. Party members and supporters of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) also celebrated its 40th anniversary. Representatives from many of the national parties also joined the protest.
