A delegation of journalists and students from Belgium, Students For a Just Peace in the Middle East, joined the demonstration in solidarity with the village in their struggle against the Wall and settlement building. Another group from the Ireland Solidarity Movement with the Palestinian People joined in addition to this group, as well as groups from England and Denmark. Palestinian flags and banners were raised calling to remove the illegal wall and settlements, stop land confiscation, remove checkpoints and road blocks, the release of all of the Palestinian detainees and the halt of all the settlers’ violence against farmers during the olive harvest.

After the Friday prayer, the residents of Bil’in gathered in a protest along with Israeli and international activists. A group from France called French people to support Palestinian People and another group from Norway joined the demonstration in solidarity with the village in their struggle against the Wall and settlement building. The protesters raised Palestinian flags and banners to allow Palestinian farmers to pick olive trees from their land. The protest called to remove the illegal wall and settlements, stop land confiscations, remove checkpoints and road blocks, and the release of all the Palestinian detainees.

After the Friday prayer, the residents of Bil’in gathered in a protest along with Israeli and international activists. The French Farmer Union of north France joined the protest to pick olives. The protesters carried Palestinian flags and banners calling to allow the Palestinian farmers pick olives from their land. The protesters called also for a popular struggle to remove the wall, stop confiscating the land, remove the checkpoints and free all the Palestinian detainees.

The residents of Bilin joined by international and Israeli peace activists gathered to demonstrate against the Wall and settlement building today. The protesters raised the Palestinian flag and banners to commemorate the Eid and calling for a national unity and also other banners condemning the massacres against the Palestinian people.

On the 26th September 2008 after the Friday prayer, the residents of Bil’in, joined by international and Israeli solidarity activists, held a demonstration against the apartheid wall and the confiscation of their land. The protesters carried banners for the 8th anniversary of the Al-Aqsa intifada. They called for a third Intifada to remove the wall, stop settlement construction, remove checkpoints, open roads and stop the confiscation of Palestinian land. They also called to break Israeli racism and for the freedom of Palestinian detainees.
