Prime Minister Dr. Salam Fayyad, and Dr. Khaled Fahad Al-Qawasmi, Minister of Local Government and Jamal Zakut adviser to the prime minister, led the Eid prayer in Bil’in mosque, and they visited the villagers, especially the family of the martyr Bassem Abu Rahma, the families of prisoners and the activists of the Popular Committee Against the Wall, and subsequently visited the tomb of the martyr Baseem Abu Rahma and put a wreath of flowers on it and read Al-Fatiha from the Holy Quran.

Dozens were suffocated with tear gas canisters at the weekly demonstration in Bil’in. As the people of Bil’in with international and Israeli peace activists participated in Bil’in’s weekly demonstration after Friday prayers today, although they have raised Palestinian flags and banners to mark the twenty-seventh anniversary of the massacre at Sabra and Shatila and they have raised other banners condemning the policy of incursions, arrests, land confiscation and settlement construction.

According to Sheikh Suleiman Yasseen Mohammed Burnat, the father of Hamaza Burnat (age 16), his house has been invaded at night five times so far within the past three months, usually around 3am.
Israeli forces raid Bil’in, beat Popular Committee member

Shortly after 1:30am, Israeli forces invaded Bil’in again. They raided the house of Abdullah Mahmoud Aburahma , Coordinator of the Bil’in Popular Committee Against the Wall, in an attempt to arrest him. However, he was not home at the time.

[ISM] Shortly after 2pm, the Israeli occupation forces invaded the village of Bil’in from two different directions once again. They raided two houses in an attempt to arrest Mohammed Ahmed Yasseen (age 21), and Yasseen Mohammed Yasseen (age 21). In the first house soldiers were quite aggressive during their operation. Neither of the wanted men was home at the time.
