Two injured and dozens suffered by teargas inhalation during the Bil'in weekly protest

Two were injured and dozens suffered teargas inhalation fired at them by the Israeli occupation soldiers during the suppression of the weekly demonstration in Bil’in, where the Israeli soldiers heavily used tear gas and sound bombs. The two wounded were British solidarity Judy who suffers from physical disability and in a wheelchair, while the second is the Israeli Elinor.

Shortly before 2am, the occupation forces invaded Bil’in once again. They raided the house of Basil Mansour Ali Mansour (age 32), a member of the Bil’in Popular Committee, in an attempt to arrest him, but he was not at home at the time.

Israeli forces target Palestinian cameramen at Bil’in demonstration

[ISM] Around 1pm, Israeli forces arrested 2 Israeli solidarity activists and a Palestinian cameraman, Haitham al-Khatib (33 years old) during a demonstration in the West Bank village of Bil’in.

Witnesses say that Israeli soldiers ran in and arrested the 3 demonstrators. Haitham al-Khatib was filming the demonstration near the Wall when he was taken.

Three were arrested at the weekly demonstration in Bil’in today; two of them are Israeli peaces activists; Asaf (25 years old), Ben Ronein (26 years old), and the photographer Haetham Al Khateeb (33 years old). Although, Husam Al Khateeb was wounded, in addition to dozens were injured due to inhalation a tear gas, which were thrown at them by the Israeli occupation soldiers, during the suppression of the weekly demonstration at Bil’in, where the soldiers excessively used tear gas.

Israeli forces invaded Bil’in once again just before 1am. Six jeeps entered the village via the gate in the occupation wall. Two jeeps stopped at the house of Mohammed Ahmed Yasseen (age 21) and searched for him in the ground floor apartment belonging to his mother. Four jeeps stopped at Abdullah Mahmoud Abu Rahma’s (age 38), Coordinator of the Bil’in Popular Committee Against the Wall, house and searched for him there. Two of these jeeps left quickly to search for Yasseen Mohammed Yasseen (age 21) at his home. None of the men were at home and no-one was arrested.
